Protect particularly hard-wearing carbide grades
the water jet orifice against erosion by the abrasives used in the water jet.
The lifetime of the abrasive nozzles depends on a perfect alignment of the water jet in the center of the hole and the quantity (g/min) and fineness of the abrasive (80/120/220 mesh). For this reason, no exact service life information can be given. As a rule of thumb, you can expect 40-80 hours for the standard abrasive nozzles andd 60-150 hours for the Premium+.
